Candace Starr Ransom-Long, 51, of Delray Beach, FL was born July 16, 1962 in Doniphan, MO and departed this life on April 23, 2014 in Delray Beach, FL. She was an instructor at TRCC for several years and loved working with her students.
Preceding her in death were her parents JC and Frieda Ransom, grandparents Merton and Arlee Ormsby and James C. and Agnes Random.
Surviving are her husband Joseph M. Long of Delray Beach, FL, uncles Dr. BJ (Wanda) Ormsby and Dr. Gary (Pat) Ormsby of Poplar Bluff, and Bill (Dottie) Ormsby of Fairdealing, aunt Sharyn Dinwiddie of Camdenton, mother-in-law Lorraine Long of Porter, Indiana, a special aunt and uncle Bill and Jean Yates of Doniphan, several cousins, and her beloved dog Pucci.
Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30 at 11:00 with services following at 12:00. Burial will be in the Center Hill cemetery.
