Candance was the cutest FlaminGal ever! She had a positive 'Can Do' attitude. She was just sweet, sweet, sweet! She and Ms. LuLu are Pink Flocking with God's glorious Angels!

Candace loved flamingos and that's how I met her. Through the internet, several of us became friends and gathered, mostly in Florida, at least once a year. Candace always had a tough time trying to close the trunk of her snappy red car since she had purchased MANY new flamingo items ~ with our help, of course. Everyone loved Candade.

Joe, My heart is broken to hear about the passing sweet Candace. She had a heart of gold and we all had so much fun when all we "Flamingals" got together. God Bless her ....she's a beautiful angel in heaven. Loved you Candace....

Joe - so sorry for your loss. I've notified all the flamingo ladies and I'm sure this will sadden them all. Candace was a bright spot during all of our gatherings, she will be missed.

Dearest Joe and Family, I am so very sorry to learn of Candace's passing. I hired Candace to work for me at the Marriott Hotel in downtown St Louis, MO when we were both in our 20's. I loved her outgoing, bubbly and confident personality. She was a shining star and a true joy to work with and I was blessed to know her and to become her friend. We kept in touch these many years. I have special photos she shared of herself with Joe, her Dad and with her dog Pucci. I know she was so strong battling so many health challenges, but she managed gracefully and with a positive attitude. She had so many nice stories about her teaching and how she had found her niche. Her Family helped her get to her job - she spoke of how lucky she was to have such a supportive and helpful Family. I will miss talking to her and her infectious laugh. May God bless her always! Love, Sheree

That girl loved to drive fast and arrive in style. In high school her '78 sky blue Firebird certainly set a noticeable standard for fun. I can imagine angel wings of rainbow colors. Peace and blessings for all the family, Kim Trabue

Mrs. Ransom was a wonderful instructor. I had her for some classes at Three Rivers College as well as some of my coursework in my Hannibal La-Grange bachelor program. I will never forget the day that I was hysterical about something that happened with one of my papers and she calmed me down and reassured me that it would be alright. She was a very special woman and will be greatly missed by all.

Candace was an amazing woman who showed much courage and grace in life. I enjoyed the few conversations we had and she always had a smile. The world lost a very bright spirit and will burn a little less bright now.

I fondly recall jumping into Candy's powder blue Camaro and running to the store to buy items to decorate our "pep pal's" locker many times during football season. She was a lovely person, and I was so happy to have gotten reacquainted with her a little while she was teaching at TRCC. She will be missed by many, and I offer prayers and sorrow for her loss to her family. God bless, Lori Berry Myers
