Lucy (Wynn) Eisenbeis, 66, of Grandin, Missouri, died July 16, 2008, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs. Eisenbeis was born January 24, 1942, in St. Louis to the late Jean S. and Bessie V. Estes Wynn of Grandin. Lucy married Paul J. Eisenbeis in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 28, 1961. She was a machine operator at Merrit Specialties. She was also a CNA at St. Sophia's Nursing Home and Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis. Lucy enjoyed being outdoors, observing wildlife and listening to bluegrass and old country music. She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Eisenbeis of the home. Also surviving are her children: Paul E. Eisenbeis of DeSoto, Missouri, Rita M. Eisenbeis and Carl D. Eisenbeis both of Grandin and Douglas M. (Sharon) Eisenbeis of Williamsville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Randy J. Eisenbeis, Ashley N. Eisenbeis, David P. Eisenbeis and Amanda L. Eisenbeis; one great-grandson, Axton D. Eisenbeis; four sisters, Barbara (Ed) Milburn, Jerrie (Carl) Joplin, Judy (Lanie) Bishop and Sandy (David) Collins; her cousin {whom she called brother, Herbert (Sonny) Webb} and a special friend from childhood, Sandra Murray. She was a niece to Luther Estes of St. Louis and Georgia Wynn Webb of Grandin. She was preceded in death by one son, David L. Eisenbeis, and two sisters, Mary Lou Allen and Betty June Huecker. Lucy was a dear sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many. "Her smile we will not soon forget." Visitation will be Sunday evening, July 20, 2008, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Monday morning, July 21, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery.
