Mom, as I sit here at Home at Gatewood, Missouri. I moved back to Missouri in 2009 to help you take care of the Family Home.
You taught All of Us to be independent and move forward one step at a time. Work and doing for others was what We did.
The many nights you read the Bible to Us and Dad playing the Guitar and singing made us a Great Family.
As we grew up and went our own way You and Dad were Supportive
Hester off to the Army 1963. Sharron to college 1965. Tim to St Charles to work 1967. Frances off to College 1969.
Betty to work in St Charles,MO 1971.
Joyce got married to Ted Croy May 1972.
It is now 2024. Dad ( Harley) passed away 2000. Hester passed away 2008. You (Kathleen)passed away March 2013. Tim and Candy passed July 2013. Friend Kenny Helton passed 2015. Roy Jones passed June 2023.
Your Daughters Sharron, Frances, Joyce and Betty are still in Missouri.

Mom, you fought a difficult journey and stayed around for years after the Doctors had counted you out. Tim, Karen, Leslie and I stayed with you till the end. I want to thank Karen for holding your hand at the end and Leslie for being at your bedside while Tim and I took a break. God Bless all the family and extended family and friends. The Ladies Auxillary to the VFW Post 3485 which you were President will pay their last respect to you at the funeral. LOVE YOU STILL Betty and Kenny Helton
