I wanted to express my sympathy to Mert's family. I am Ron Curfman's youngest son. I especially remember two occasions of being with Merton. Once when I was quite young my family visited in Missouri and we all went to the zoo! The other time was in the early 90's when my wife and I spoke at a church conference in St. Louis. We stayed with Mert and Nola for a week. It was a very enjoyable time being with Mert and getting to know Nola for the first time.
