Obituary of Rebecca Lynn Foster

Rebecca Lynn Bueche Foster, was born April 4, 1965, in Rockford, Illinois, to Louis Bueche and Ruth Hatcher Bueche. She passed away at the age of 58, in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on May 12, 2023, after a long battle of pancreatic cancer and cirrhosis of the liver caused from the chemo treatments.

Rebecca was a member of the Ellsinore General Baptist Church. She was married to John Foster of Grandin, Missouri. She raised three children as her own, Ana, Shayla and DeLaney Pearce. Rebecca loved her family with all her heart, and she loved her dogs. Her favorite things to do was talk about Jesus, pray, read the Bible, go to church, spend time with her sisters and families, watch cooking shows and QVC on TV, and play games. Rebecca loved the Lord with everything she had. She praised the Lord to the very end of her life. She loved her church and her church family. Her greatest desire was to see people give their hearts to the Lord. Rebecca was the best wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend anyone could have. She was strong in her faith, and in life. She was very compassionate, loving, kind, and forgiving and she never held a grudge. She loved helping others in any way she could. Her occupation was a care giver, and an amazing care giver she was! She put her heart and love into those she was caring for.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ruth Bueche; one sister, Martha Bradford; and one brother, Johnny Bueche.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, John Foster of Grandin, MO; the three children she raised, Ana, Shayla, and Delaney Pearce of Rockford, IL; three sisters, Lee-Etta Stumph of Rockford, IL, Karen (Craig) Carlson of Rockford, IL, and Rose (Don) Clark of Heber Springs, AR, and many nieces and nephews and countless friends and other family members.

Visitation will be held at Ellsinore General Baptist Church in Ellsinore, MO, on Saturday, May 20, 2023, beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor William McDowell will be officiating. Interment will be in Carson Hill Cemetery, Ellsinore, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Pearce, Matt Pearce, Gene Clark, Trevor Clark, Tony Hawthorne, and Jason Pearce.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the LORD, the righteous judge, shall give me on that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
