I will love you to the end of time. I can’t imagine what “without you” looks like. I almost texted you this morning to see how your night was. Then I remembered. I can still hear your laugh… from the pit of your belly laugh. Please send a sign every now and again. I really need it. And I promise not to share an Uncle Nick’s gyro with anyone else! I will miss you like crazy, but I’m so glad you are no longer on pain. You are the strongest person I ever got the pleasure of knowing and loving.

I was blessed to have met Becky, she was a bright light in this dark world, a shining example of her deep love for Jesus. She is resting in the arms of Jesus our Lord and Saviour. May her family feel God's peace that only He can give.

Q: How would you describe Rebecca to someone who had never met them?
A: Becky and I were best friends as young children, her sister LeeEtta had been married to my brother. Even after we were no longer related by marriage, we stayed close until high school. One memory to share is that Becky was sometimes a rule- breaker, once we skipped school together, she was in 8th grade and I was in 7th at Lincoln Middle School. We both deliberately fell in a puddle and got wet, went to her house and made up a story for Ruth to keep us out of school later. Becky, myself and a couple friends wrote a song and sang it on the radio about being friends. We went separate paths as teenagers but remained in touch throughout the years. I was blessed to see her while I lived in Rockford about a year and a half ago, we talked and shared laughs like old times, I will always love her.
