Obituary of Tammy Beckwith

Tammy Denine Beckwith, 58, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Current River Nursing Center.

 

Ms. Beckwith was born August 13, 1964, to Charles Mierisch and Evelyn Smith in St. Louis, MO.  She was an office manager in the home health industry, enjoyed gardening, taking pictures, spending time with family and friends, and loving her grandchildren, and was a member of West Point United Pentecostal Church.

 

On May 26, 1983, she was married to Dwade Beckwith in Cape Girardeau. He survives.

 

Also surviving are one son, Justin (Sara) Beckwith of Doniphan; sister, Crystal Smith of California; four brothers, Matt Smith of Jonesboro, AR, David Smith of Columbia, Joe Smith of Carterville, and Stephen Smith of Morrison, TN; her parents, Evelyn & Donnie Smith of Jonesboro, AR; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Macenzie, & Madelynn.

 

She was preceded in death by one son, James Beckwith, and brother, Johnny Smith.

 

Visitation will take place Monday, February 6, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. at West Point United Pentecostal Church.  The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 10 a.m. also at West Point United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Chuck Carr officiating.  Burial will be in the Shirley Cemetery.
