Dean was a very nice friend. Always a smile and a kind word. He will be missed when I go and eat lunch at the boat dock. I always will look for him there. Miss you Buddy

Q: What will you never forget about Jerry?
A: I met Dean when we both worked at the W.E. Sears Youth Center and he always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. We talked hunting and fishing in Ripley Co. quite a bit as I had lived there too. He was a good man and a good friend. RIP Dean and hope you are doing some good fishing and hunting in heaven!

Oh how you will be missed dearly, Dean-O. This was definitely not the news I wanted to hear today. I wish we could have just one more round & I could hear that one last story from you. They just don't make them like you anymore, that's for sure. This world just won't be the same without you. I'm sure you're already up there telling them a joke or two, with a smile on that face or yours. Fly high, Dean-O.

So sorry to hear this. Dean was always a good friend to our family. He and my dad worked the drywall business for many years. Back when I was younger, we rabbit hunted a bit. Prayers for the family, he will be missed.

Brian and I always saw Dean on the river in his little boat, every time we went out. He would just be putting along, enjoying the day. Occasionally casting out to see what he could catch. We'd always stop to chat a little. He was at every pool match. Quietly watching the game and giving words of encouragement. Sometimes when I walked the tracks, he would be there parked, doing some reading. Waving as I'd make my way around the track. Always smiling. Such a sweet person. He will be missed.
