Charlie (and Glenda..of course) were some of my favorite people in Doniphan. I loved Charlie’s hugs! I spent so much time at their home in my teenage years. I remember being at their home & gigging with them, playing games in the large yard, and so many great meals. When my dad had a heart attack, just a short time after Charlie had his, it was Glenda & Charlie that took me in and let me stay with them. Made sure I made it back and forth to the hospital to be there with my parents & made it to school, sporting events, etc…. They were amazing to me. Charlie was always sweet to make me things and send them via mom and dad’s visits. I still have many of those items. God bless Mrs. Glenda and provide her peace & comfort during this time. We know that they will meet again someday!
