Obituary of Jimmy Washburn, Jr.

James Edward “Jimmy” Washburn, Jr., 46, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Sunday, March 27, 2022. He was born August 20, 1975 in Pontiac, MI to James Washburn, Sr. and Judy (Dale) Kitchen.

 

Jimmy liked to skateboard. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially around the holidays. Jimmy was a self-employed transmission rebuilder.

 

Surviving are his sons, Josh Washburn of Romeo, MI and Nathan Washburn of Tampa, FL; a sister, Nathania (Brandon) Kitchen Futrell of Doniphan; and three brothers, David Kitchen, and Mike Kitchen, all of Doniphan.

 

Jimmy was preceded by two brothers, Daniel Washburn and Johnny Kitchen.

 

Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2022 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Price Cemetery.
