I met Jimmy in 1991 or so when he lived in Pontiac. We soon became friends and often skated all the local spots. We briefly lost touch but started skating together again when he moved to Lake Orion. Ultimately we lost touch just after his daughter was born. He was a very nice person with a great sense of humor and a super talented skater who was well known throughout the local scene. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing and will never forget him.

I grew up going over to his house and stealing all his popcorn. After I was done with my popcorn he would have me sing to him. Every time I came over I was always singing.
