Jo Reeta Shoop, 78, of Fairdealing, MO, departed this life Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1942 in Doniphan, MO to the late Leamon Doyle and Violet Nelle (Stanley) McArthur.
On March 31, 1962, Jo married Glenn W. Shoop, whom preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sons, Leamon Glenn Shoop and Robert Larry Shoop; Sisters, Linda McDowell, Brenda Belcher, Gail Wertz, Diane McBride/McArthur, and Alethea Crone; Brother, Glenn McArthur; Grandchildren, Jonathon Shoop, Andrea Hardin, Chelsea Shoop, Chris Shoop, and Ashley Shoop; and Great-Grandchildren, Walker Shoop, Kaiden Hardin, Carson Hardin, Ellie Shoop, Jaxon Shoop, Zaden Shoop, Avery Shoop, and Zakariah Cole.
Jo enjoyed spending time outside, gardening, and with her family.
Interment will be in the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ.
