Obituary of Matthew Edward Riley
Matthew Edward Riley, 48, of Doniphan, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at his home in rural Doniphan, surrounded by family and friends.
Matt, son of Cliff and Saundra (Lemley) Riley, was born March 4, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri. Matt was founder and owner of All Ready Automotive. He was skilled in many things but was a master mechanic and most known for being a “comedian”. He had a passion for anything with a motor that went fast. He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, cooking out, and entertaining his friends and family, especially on Chiefs game day. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized on March 15, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff Riley Sr. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Valerie Riley; his son, Austin Riley of Overland Park, KS. Also surviving are his mother, Saundra Riley of Doniphan, MO; brother, Cliff Riley; sisters, Nichole Stocksdale, and Elizabeth Dabbs also of Doniphan, MO; brother-n-laws, Dan Stocksdale, Danny Dabbs, and Aaron Goodman; sister-n-law, Merit Goodman; nephews, Colbey and Zachary Riley; nieces, Merissa Owens, Macie Stocksdale, Brittany Goodman and Jada Shields; and countless friends and family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, March 23, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Doniphan officiated by Ken Johannesen.
