Our hearts our heavy, yet they are also lifted by the knowledge that Matt has been called to a new life with God. Matt’s enthusiasm and playful spirit could fill a room. He made us feel welcome, and you could see the kind heart within him. Please know that your dear Matt was loved by us and by so many; he left an imprint on many lives. Dear family, my heart breaks for you. We were cousins and I didn't get to send as much time with him or any of you that I would have liked. Boy was he a joker, Last time I saw him, he and Randy were auctioneers at our Riley reunion. I think I ended up with a lot of stuff I didn't bid on because he and Randy decided I needed it. To his wife, I don't think I ever got to meet you but in the pictures I have seen you two were made for each other. He needed you in his life an he looked so happy, I am sending my prayers and love.
