We wish everyone in Beulah Mae's family our deepest sympathy and our prayers for peace and God's comfort. Although our family moved from Doniphan to Arizona in 1959, the connection between our family and Aunt Beulah, Uncle Tom, and Joyce, Carolyn, and Tom was always strong. Uncle Tom and Tom came out for a visit, as did Joyce. For many years our family made our summer vacation a trip back to Missouri to visit relatives, including Aunt Beulah Mae and Uncle Tom. What we remember most are the indelible memories of childhood. Driving the narrow road through the forest out to Aunt Beulah's and Uncle Tom's place. Big dinners with our Mom, Ruth, and Aunt Beulah cooking and our Dad, Arthur, talking out on the porch with Uncle Tom. Aunt Beulah's soft, sweet voice calling us in to eat. We played all around the barn and got wet in the creek, Joyce and Carolyn trying to keep us from running too wild (Tom was a little young, then). We remember Aunt Beulah Mae then and always as a gentle presence soothing our lives. She could always make us laugh, and she could always make us think. We will miss her and the vitality she always gave everyone around her. May God bless her and all those who miss her dearly.

When I was pregnant during the month of April, I was craving Thanksgiving dinner with Turkey and the whole works. I came over one day to visit her and she had an entire Thanksgiving dinner fixed.
When I was in the hospital having one of my baby girls, she was there and my back was hurting so bad, not even the pain med was working, she placed her cool hands on my back and started rubbing my back, it felt so much better, I didn't want her to stop neither did she, but she had to cause her hands were getting tired.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Coonce’s passing. I ran around and worked with Joyce Redus, her daughter. I loved Mrs. Coonce’s tacos, when I stayed all night with Joyce, before she got married. God bless and much love to Joyce, Carolyn, Tommy and Larry along with all the other family members.

Mrs. Coonce was a sweet lady and a a good friend to everyone. I always enjoyed talking to her. When visiting her she always made you feel welcome. She always cooked great dinners, it was like a Thanksgiving dinner. She always wanted to cook what she thought you liked. I thought a lot of her. It's so sad when you lose a good friend. And we never want to give them up. We know she is at her Heavenly Home tonight and want have to suffer anymore. She will be missed by many. My prayer are with the family tonight for strength and comfort for the days ahead.
