Albert O. Steward, 84, departed this life Friday, June 19, 2015, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Steward, son of John William and Nellie (Kinder) Steward, was born July 24, 1930, in Hardin, Illinois. He had worked in auto body repair. Mr. Steward became a Christian over 20 years ago and enjoyed reading the Bible every day. He also loved to sing in church and wrote Christian music. Additionally, he was a talented artist. Mr. Steward was a member of the Pentecost Church.
Surviving are two sons, one daughter and several grandchildren; two brothers, John Andrew Steward of Doniphan and Samuel Steward of Godfrey, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Fern Foster and Catherine Foster; and five brothers, Henry, Sylvester, Fred, Russell and Bill.
Visitation will begin on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel.
