Kenneth Neven Collins, 81, of Doniphan, Missouri passed away Friday June 5, 2015 at the Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan, Missouri.
Mr. Collins, son of the late Hester & Velva (Ledbetter) Collins, was born July 1, 1933 in West Plains, Missouri. Mr. Collins was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed working on the farm, his cattle, fishing and traveling. Mr. Collins was a member of the Oak Grove Church of God. On April 21, 1962 he was married to Evalyn Shelton she preceded him in death on May 26, 1988. On August 2, 1990 he married Jean (Baker) Peck in Doniphan, MO. She survives.
Surviving is his wife; three daughters Cindy (Ronnie) Burns of Doniphan, Betty Jean (Mark) Davis of Sacramento CA, and Stacy Jean (Rusty) Walker of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Meesha (Heath) Lewis & Brandon (Ashley) Burns; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Jayce & Millie; one sister Wilma Keck of Doniphan.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, one sister Marjorie Willet and brother David Collins. Funeral services for Mr. Collins will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday June 8 at Oak Grove Church of God. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 PM Monday at Oak Grove Church of God with Bro. Danny Miller officiating. Full Military Honors will be held.
