Homer Daniel Sherwood Wolfe, 73, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Fremont, Nebraska.
Mr. Wolfe, son of Gabriel Joseph and Rosie Ellen (Martz) Wolfe, was born August 13, 1941, in Grandin, Missouri. Dan was raised at Grandin and moved to Omaha in his early 20's, residing there for the remainder of his life. He had worked at a furniture manufacturing company. Mr. Wolfe belonged to the Methodist Church and was baptized at an early age.
Surviving are two brothers, Marcell (and Catherine) Wolfe of Omaha, Nebraska, and William "Bill" (and Oneta) Wolfe of Laurie, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Elmer Wolfe, one sister, Frances Green, and one niece, Cherie Green.
Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the McRone Cemetery near Grandin.
