Obituary of Becky Wealand

Becky Len MacLaren Wealand, 55, of Oxly, Missouri, passed away on May 4, 2015, at her place of residence. Becky was the oldest daughter of her surviving parents, Dennis and Rebecca Mayhugh, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She celebrated the life of those around her. Relevantly, she displayed her love for others through the crafts she made. She volunteered her time in the elementary schools and library of Doniphan. Becky was employed at Three Rivers Community College. Becky is being laid to rest by her surviving husband, Larry Wealand, of Oxly, Missouri. Also surviving is her son, Shannon Daniel Strickland of Lake Charles, LA. Shannon is the father of her surviving grandchildren: Tyler, 14; Peyton, 10; Wren, 6; Luella, 4; Jaxson, 1. Also surviving, her four sisters, Patricia Armell and Harriet Dollar, both of GA, Laura Wiggin and Krista Marr, both of TN. Furthermore, survives nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, whom she loved dearly. Lastly surviving is her beloved dog, Sully. The family will hold a visitation in honor of Becky at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Missouri at 5:00 p.m. on May 9, 2015, followed by a memorial service to celebrate her life at 6:00 p.m. Reverend James Dollar, her brother-in-law, will be officiating.
