Dellalou Roberts, 84, of Doniphan died Thursday, December 25, 2008, in St. Louis. Mrs. Roberts was born September 8, 1924. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberts was a housewife who enjoyed children, grandchildren, and volunteering. On June 19, 1943, she married Lloyd R. Roberts in Maplewood, MO. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2003. Survivors include one son, Carl Roberts of Franklin, TN; three daughters Carolyn Fleming of Trenton TX, Barbara Donnell of Bates City, MO and Paula Huff of Chesterfield, MO; two sisters Dorothy Meiners of Ballwin and Doris & Ordell Gibson of Doniphan; 10 grandchildren Stephanie Allam, Drew Fleming, Matt Roberts, Josh Roberts, Jordan Roberts, Jennifer Bauman, Heather Wingo, A.J. Donnell, Kayci Huff & Kelly Huff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Logan & Esther Viola (Westbrook) Self. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday December 28, 2008 at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday December 29, 2008 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be at Doniphan City Cemetery. In lue of flowers memorials to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
