Johnny Dewayne Taylor Jr. age 42, of Doniphan passed away in his home on the morning of April 19, 2015. He was born on March 5, 1973, in Doniphan, Missouri. He was the only son of Johnny Taylor Sr. and Bobbie (Hendrix) Hemphill. He married Julie Blattel of Greenville, Missouri, on August 14, 1996, at Holliday Landing Resort in Greenville. He was a lifetime resident of Doniphan where he worked with his father as co-owner of JT's Trucking and Backhoe Service. He was also the current elect Ripley County Western District Commissioner. He was a loving husband, father, son and nephew. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to camp with his family and friends. He also helped his daughter with her alpaca and llama farm. He was a very hard worker and was loved by all and he loved his family dearly. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Everett and Lorene Taylor, Mabel and Robert Hendrix, and Aunt Mary Lou Taylor all of Doniphan. Survivors include his wife Julie, his 3 daughters Madyson (18), Morgan (16) and McKynlie (8); his first grandchild due this summer; his mother, Bobbie (Charles) Hemphill; his father, Johnny Taylor Sr.; his Aunt Charlotte Huffman and cousin Shannon (Billy) Davis. Visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan on Thursday, April 23rd from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Edwards Funeral Home on Friday April 24th at 10 A.M. with Hubert Payne officiating. Interment will be held at the Greenville City Cemetery.
