Robert Floyd Price, 75, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
Mr. Price, son of Charles and Ivy (Woods) Price, was born February 19, 1936, in Noel, Missouri. He was an over-the-road truck driver. Mr. Price enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing poker and being with his friends. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Post 3485.
On July 29, 2007, he was married to Patricia Barnes in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Robert F. Price and his wife, Debbie, of DeSoto, Kansas; two brothers, John Price of Arma, Kansas, and Jim Price and his wife, Sue, of Conway, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Garret and Elaine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ivy Price.
Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
