Obituary of James A. Morelan

James A. "Bud" Morelan, 68, of Oxly, Missouri, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Morelan was born July 6, 1940, in Heber Springs, Arkansas, to the late James William & Edna Rachel (Link) Morelan. Mr. Morelan was a truck driver and ran a grocery store in Fairdealing for many years.
On April 4, 1958, in Olivette, Missouri, he married Peggy Gosnell. She survives.
Other survivors include; one daughter, Joyce Hasheider of St. Charles, Missouri; three sisters, Geneva Dion of Ellisnore, and Ann Carlisle and Mary Sutherland, both of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Morelan was preceded in death by his parents; one son, John Morelan; and one sister, Gladys Steinmetz. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM. Monday December 22, 2008 at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday December 23, 2008 at the funeral home with Bro. Ron Payne officiating. Burial will be at Naylor Masonic Cemetery.
