Martha Jane Baker, 87, of Ironton, Missouri, died Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Baptist Home in Ironton. She was a former resident of Doniphan, Missouri.
Mrs. Baker, daughter of Ben J. and Sylvia (Raper) Atwell, was born September 20, 1927, in Naylor, Missouri. She had been a housewife and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Doniphan.
On April 22, 1950, she was married to Ernest Baker in Piggott, Arkansas, and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1990.
Visitation will start on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at noon in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Monty Flanigan officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
