Billy Ray Robbins
Billy Ray Robbins, 64, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 8:15 a.m. at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Robbins was born January 19, 1943, in Doniphan. He had been an employee of Reed Oil Company for 26 years. Mr. Robbins enjoyed crafts, animals and fishing.
On February 15, 1974, he was married to Betty Swan. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Marsha (and Thomas) Parsons of Marthasville, Missouri, and one son, David (and Christina) Robbins of Wappapello, Missouri; one sister, Bonnie (and Rex) Holland of Doniphan; one sister-in-law, Lucy (and Fred) Brooks of Arnold, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jessica Robbins and Dustin (and Christy) Adams and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ray Robbins and Mittie Vee Harmon.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2007, at 12:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Hubert Payne officiating. Burial will be in Towles Cemetery.
