Florence Sue Murphey, 49, of Doniphan died Thursday, December 11, 2008, at St. Bernards's Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Murphey was born February 23, 1959 in Doniphan. On March 13, 1991, she married Donald R. Murphey in Doniphan. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1997. Survivors include her mother Wanda Jones of Doniphan, daughter Jennifer Smith of Doniphan, son Michael Elliott of Doniphan. One sister Mary Stokes of O'Fallon and three brothers Jack W. Jones of Doniphan, Dennis Eugene Jones of Columbia, MO and Jim Jones of Doniphan and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Jones. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM. Sunday December 14, 2008 at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday December 15, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. Eugene Griffin officiating. Burial will be at Doniphan City Cemetery.
