Geneva Cozetta Mae Honeycutt, 73, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mrs. Honeycutt, daughter of Milburn and Reva (Van Winkle) Williams, was born September 12, 1941, in Corning, Arkansas. She was primarily a housewife but also worked alongside her husband, Kenneth, at Honeycutt Auto Sales as well as operating Geneva's Bargain Barn. Mrs. Honeycutt enjoyed sewing and working in crafts and was a member of the West Doniphan Missionary Baptist Church and the Current River Sheltered Workshop board. On May 19, 1960, she was married to Kenneth Honeycutt in Doniphan and he preceded her in death on April 3 2012. Surviving are three daughters: Sheila Hess, Dotty (Jon) Thomas and Debbie (Monty) Farmer, all of Doniphan; one sister, Wilma Sturtz of Westphalia, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Timmy Lee, Jonny (Andrea), Heather, Kimber (Matt) and Trisha (Eric) and 3 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Lucas and Kylie. Mrs. Honeycutt was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Barbara Ann Honeycutt. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 19, 2015, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Friday morning, March 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brothers Kenneth Melton and David Grubb officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
