Brenda Sue Braschler, 56, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Monday, March 9, 2015, at Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan.
Mrs. Braschler, daughter of Delbert and Barbara (Miller) Hoefer, was born December 8, 1958, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She had been an insurance agent with Farm Bureau Insurance Company in Doniphan. Mrs. Braschler was involved in several Farm Bureau women's committees and was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ. Brenda liked to read and enjoyed the crops, animals and life on the farm.
On May 26, 1979, she was married to Steve Braschler at the Doniphan Church of Christ and he survives.
Also surviving are one son, Derrick Braschler of the home; her mother, Barbara Hoefer of Doniphan; and one sister, Teresa Hoefer of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Hoefer.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Steve Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
