Cletus Lester Davis, 89, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Mr. Davis, son of the late Otho R. and Orna (Lakey) Davis, was born May 16, 1925, in Overland, Missouri. He had been a general laborer for the Missouri Conservation Department. Mr. Davis had also served as a security guard for Missouri Forge in Doniphan. He enjoyed drawing, especially Christian art.
Mr. Davis was the father of nine children and was a brother to seven siblings.
A brief visitation will be held Friday morning, March 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Visitation will begin on Monday March 9, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. at the Alexander-White-Mullen-Funeral Home at 11101 St. Charles Rock Road: St. Ann, Missouri. Funeral service to be at 11:00 A.M. with interment at The Mount Lebannon Cemetery.
