Mary Jane Ford, 89, of Lemay, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at her residence.
Mrs. Ford, daughter of Robert and Gertie (Smith) Cannon) was born December 3, 1925, in Gorham, Illinois. She was a retired factory worker.
In 1944 she was married to Ernest Martin Ford at Blytheville, Arkansas, and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1997.
Surviving are one son, Terry Ford of St. Louis, Missouri; 2 step-daughters, Dorothy Willis of St. Peters, Missouri, and Irene Debro of Kansas City, Missouri; 2 sisters, Frances Keating and Phyllis Kelly, both of St. Louis; 1 brother, Charles Cannon of Doniphan; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, Rose Carter, Maxine Turner and Dora Hulvey and two brothers, Cecil Cannon and Elmer Cannon.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, February 6, 2015, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Saturday morning, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Hubert Payne officiating. Burial will be in the Grandin Cemetery in Grandin.
