Thelma Imogean Peterson Wortham, 90, of Malden , Missouri, died Friday November 21, 2008, at NHC Healthcare in Kennett, MO.
Mrs. Peterson-Wortham was born May 17, 1916, in Bardley, Missouri, to the late Joe & Lettie Watson. She was a member of the Church. She lived most of her life in Kennett, her younger years were spent in Pine and Holcomb. She loved gardening, quilting, arts & crafts.
Mrs. Peterson Wortham is survived by one son Bobby Joe (Janie) Peterson of Kennett; four daughters Mildred Banks of Marion IL, Marie (Sonny) Provance of Malden, Ruby Peterson of Seguin, TX and Eva Mae Campbell of Annada. Two sisters Helen Risley of Roseburg OR & Leola Fehler of Belleville, IL; two brothers Jack (Betty) Watson & Lonnie (Cecile) Watson both of Doniphan. 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Zora Watson.
Mrs. Peterson Wortham was preceded in death by two brothers, Mack and Homer Lee Watson; one sister Ethel Marsh, and her parents. She was preceded in death by her children's father Omer Peterson in 2001.
Visitation will began 9:00 a.m. Sunday, November 23, 2008, with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. with Harold Condray officiating. Burial will be in Bardley Cemetery.
