Jeffrey Lindell Featherston passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008, at his home in Fremont, Missouri.
Jeff was born in Doniphan, Missouri, on March 8, 1948. He was 60 years old and had lived in Carter County for the last 24 years.
Jeff was married to the love of his life, Phyllis, in 1968.
Culminating a long career in finance, Jeff ran Carter County State Bank in Van Buren for 15 years.
Jeff had a lifetime love for Current River and the Ozarks. He lived for being outdoors and teaching his children and grandchildren the meaning of life in the country.
Jeff is survived by Phyllis Featherston, his two sons, Marcus and Dietrich, his grandsons, Dylan and Grant, and his daughter-in-law, Ashley, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Jeff was loved dearly by his family, who will all miss him greatly.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 21, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
