Helen Metz, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Friday, November 14, 2008, at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
Ms. Metz was born October 3, 1933, in Gerden, Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by two daughters; Lynn Armes of Poplar Bluff and Shirley Jones of Gatewood; three sons, Robert Metz of Doniphan, Jessie Metz of Poplar Bluff and Patrick Metz of Opelika, Alaabama; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Ms. Metz was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Tomas and Golda Carmen (Neimie) Plyler.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 17, 2008, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Macedonia Cemetery.
