Obituary of Alda Green

Alda F. Green, 69, of St. Louis, Missouri, died Thursday, November 13, 2008, at the West County Care Center in Ballwin. She had formerly lived in Doniphan, Missouri.
Ms. Green, daughter of the late Lester and Thelma (Linn) Brown, was born September 11, 1939, in Doniphan. She enjoyed making quilt tops and embroidering.
Surviving are four daughters; Judy Nierman of St. Louis, Beth Johnsen of O'Fallon, Missouri, Diana Green of Calhoun, Georgia, and Susan Green of St. Louis; one son, Wyatt Green II of Doniphan; one sister, Monya York, of Doniphan; one brother, Jerry Ray of Cuba, Missouri; one great aunt, Lena Creason of Doniphan; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, November 16, 2008, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be held Monday morning, November 17, 2008, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Cloven officiating. Burial will follow in the Dalton Cemetery.
