Norman A. Metevia, 71 year old resident of Doniphan, MO died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Metevia was born January 14, 1943 in Michigan. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed wood working and invented solutions to problems. He had formerly served with the US Air Force during Vietnam. He was also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
On December 24, 1983 he was married to Lynda Larsen in Florida, and she survives.
Also surviving are two grandchildren Jennifer Johnson of Doniphan; Christopher Johnson of Mt. Home, AR; and one great-grandchild Casen Johnson.
He was preceded in death by one son Gordon Metevia.
Graveside services for Mr. Metevia will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Lone Star Cemetery.
