Wanda Faye Rackley, 81, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, at the Colonial Home in Doniphan.
Mrs. Rackley, daughter of the late Ural and Pauline (Cartwright) Kinder, was born September 15, 1933, in Kennett, Missouri. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and reading and was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ.
On July 8, 1953, she was married to Joseph Thomas "Jay" Rackley in Kennett and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2005.
Surviving are one son, Michael Rackley (Brian) of Atlanta, Georgia; five daughters, Brenda Luckey (Gary) of St. Louis, Linda Jones (Ed) of Rolla, Regenia Gaszak (Greg) and Jackie Burton (Craig), both of St. Clair, Missouri, and Teresa Hoefer (Doug) of Doniphan; 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and four brothers, Roger, Richard, Raymond and Vernon Kinder.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, William Kinder.
Visitation will begin Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Steve Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
