Jeanette Kay Benefield, 54, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, September 15, 2008, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Ms. Benefield was born September 5, 1954, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a dietician at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Hoke of Doniphan; two sons, Steven D. Benefield of Doniphan and Cody P. Benefield of Kosovo; ond step-daughter, Dana O'Donnell of Doniphan; one sister, Dorothy McNally of Texas; one brother, Charles Tate of Texas; and four grandchildren, Halie Faye Perkey, Alaira Nevaeh Benefield, Kayden Lantz Benefield and Skyler Ryan Scallion.
Ms. Benefield was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Julia Elliott Mahan, two sisters, Hazel Simmons and Janie Bage and two brothers, Jerry Tate and DeWayne Tate.
Visitation will be Saturday evening, September 20, 2008, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
