Harold Wayne "Duffy" Kitchen, 57, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Kitchen, son of Mildred Pyles Barnett, was born May 24, 1953, in Campbell, Missouri. He was a hammerer at Missouri Forge in Doniphan. Mr. Kitchen was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Barnett of Doniphan, one sister, Charlotte Stewart of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and one brother, Jerry Kitchen of Doniphan. Also surviving are three half-brothers, Gary, Jimmy and George, all of Michigan.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with full military honors.
