Judy Ponder Vance, 69, a lifelong resident of Doniphan, Missouri, died June 26, 2014, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Vance, daughter of the late Harold & Mary Ann (Ezell) Morey, was born January 10, 1945, in Doniphan. She had worked at Gates and enjoyed country music, reading, puzzle books and collecting bears.
Surviving are one daughter: Janice (Dennis) Cooper of Doniphan; one son Lee (Shannon) Ponder of Poplar Bluff; one brother Charles (Carolyn) Morey of Ottumwa, IA; 6 grandchildren Ryan Ponder, Stephen Ponder, Melissa (Danny) Bergeon, Frank Langgin Jr, Chris (Crisda) Langgin, Travis Cooper, Matt Ramos, Eric Ramos, Jordan Ramos, & Alexa Ramos and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Vance was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers James Edward "Bob", Bill, Gene, Curtis & two grandchildren Andrew Ponder & David Cooper.
Visitation will be at 10 AM Saturday June 28 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Graveside services will be Saturday June 28 at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Jerry McDowell officiating.
