Chris Allen Barrett

Chris Allen Barrett, 46, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, August 16, 2008, in Ripley County, Missouri.

Mr. Barrett was born August 22, 1961, in Rockford, Illinois. He worked in construction and loved his dogs and growing plants.

He is survived by three sons, Travis, Michael and Mitchell and one daughter, Lisa, all of Doniphan; his father, James Barrett of Columbus, Wisconsin, his mother, Shirley Socia of Milford, Illinois; three sisters; Charlene Walker and her husband, Robert, of Watseka, Illinois, Carrie Barrett of Ellsinore, Missouri, and Carla Blackwell and her husband, James, of Milford, Illinois; one brother, Curtis Barrett of Doniphan and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Barrett, maternal grandparents, Clifford Kruse and Rose Fraizer and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Tessie Barrett.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, August 19, 2008, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. There will be no funeral service.
