Lenn Pender

Lenn Pender, 62, of Gatewood, Missouri, died Saturday, August 16, 2008, at his mother's residence in Doniphan, Missouri.

Mr. Pender was born March 11, 1946, in Doniphan and was a butcher at a food locker. He attended Lingo Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorized mule.

On July 6, 1974, he was married to Sharon Street at Gatewood. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David Pender and his wife, Darla, and Clint Pender, both of Gatewood; his mother, Delma Dixon Pender, of Doniphan; one sister, Ellen Mitchell and her husband, Harold, of Doniphan and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Gardner Pender.

Visitation will be Monday evening, August 18, 2008, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, August 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother James Lee Reed and Brother Billy McClintock officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.
