Obituary of Judy Murdock

Judy Kay Murdock, 61, of Gatewood, Missouri, died June 7, 2014. at her residence in Gatewood from complications of Huntington's Disease.
Mrs. Murdock, daughter of Homer and Marie (Yarbrough) Smith, was born August 21, 1952, in Doniphan, Missouri. She helped run the family farm and sawmill. Mrs. Murdock enjoyed spending time with her family, being around children and shopping. She was a member of the Ponder Church of Christ.
On May 20, 1972, she married Wendell Murdock at the Ponder Church of Christ. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Bradley Murdock and Bryan (Paula) Murdock of Doniphan; one brother, Edward (Pam) Smith of Gatewood; two grandchildren, Lauren Marie and Garrett Ross Murdock; her father, Homer Smith of Doniphan; her mother-in-law, Betty Murdock of Doniphan; a great aunt, Marguerite Ator of Doniphan; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Smith and father-in-law, Robert Murdock.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday June 10, 2014, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Wednesday morning, June 11, 2014, at 10 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Harvey Seagraves officiating. Burial will be in Tucker Cemetery.
