Jeanie R. Sheppard, 58, of Imperial, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at her residence.
Jeanie, daughter of James and Joan (Bricker) Beckwith, was born January 4, 1956, in Alton, Illinois. She was a medical records clerk for a group of orthopedic surgeons in Des Peres. Jeanie enjoyed decorating and working in her garden, especially with potted plants and other natural flowers.
On February 6, 2004, she was married to Joseph "Joe" Sheppard in Hillsboro, Missouri, and he survives.
Also surviving are three children, Jason (Mindy) Elliott, Craig (Christi) Elliott and Chrystal (Scott) Getz; two step-children, Eric Sheppard and Amber (Brandon) Helm; grandchildren, Harley, Owen, Claire, Grace, Bethany, Jordan and Brody; her mother, Joan Beckwith; two sisters, Melody (John) Leroux and Dianne (Kevin) Beckwith Kyker; three brothers, Danny (Laurie) Beckwith, Dwade (Tammy) Beckwith and Rob (Lisa) Beckwith; four uncles Daniel (Sue) Beckwith, Ernie (Barb) Beckwith, Doyle (Vi) Beckwith and Lloyd (Denise) Bricker; two aunts Ruth Campbell and Pauline McClean; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Beckwith, and one brother, James Wesley Beckwith, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday evening, May 31, 2014, at the West Point Pentecost Church in Doniphan from 5 - 8 p.m. The funeral service will follow Sunday afternoon, June 1, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Brother Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Shirley Cemetery.
