Austin Allen Ray Elliott, 17, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, May 23, 2014, in Ripley County, Missouri
Austin was born May 9, 1997, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Luther Ray Elliott and Nancy Elliott. He was an apprentice plumber. Austin loved music and played many instruments and he also enjoyed playing football.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, Jon Cook, and one sister, Raena Irvin, both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one step-brother, Thomas Ray Hart, Jr.; two nieces, Alexis Holden and Addison Irvin both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; maternal grandparents Ronnie and Dorothy Massey of Gatewood, Missouri; paternal grandmother Marsha Prince of Jonesboro, Arkansas; maternal aunts Tammy Mitchell, Rose Harris, Francise Kenney and Crystal Haywood; maternal uncle Kevin Tidwell; paternal uncle Warren Elliott; and paternal aunt Donya Prince. Also surviving are numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27 from 4-8 pm and the funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, May 28 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Leroux officiating. Burial will be at the Bennett Cemetery.
