Obituary of Dr. Sam Mickey

Dr. Sam A. Mickey, 55, of Doniphan died Friday, May 4, 2007 at his Residence.
Dr. Mickey was born December 21, 1951, in Poplar Bluff. He had owned and operated Dr. Sam A. Mickey's Chiropractic Office in Doniphan for the past 29 years. He was active in the Missouri State Chiropractic Association and was a former member of the Kiwanis Club and Ripley County Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Westwood Hills County Club in Poplar Bluff. He was also a member of His Place Church in Doniphan.
He married Alice Guess on January 7, 1978, in Doniphan, and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Abby Mickey, of Doniphan; one son, Kyle Mickey, of Doniphan; one sister, Deliah Kennen of Wheeling, W.Va. and a half sister, Sally Edwards of Springfield.
A Celebration of Life Event will be held from 4-7 PM Friday, May 11, 2007, at His Place Church in Doniphan.
Memorials may be made to His Place Church in Doniphan, Missouri State Chiropractic Association or Ozark Foothills Family Resource Center.
