Edwin Anderson Alderman, 96, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Monday, April 21, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Mr. Alderman was born July 22, 1917, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, and had retired as a Certified Public Accountant. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Doniphan. Mr. Alderman had resided most of his life in Hope, Arkansas, and had moved to Doniphan in 2003 to be near his daughter and son-in-law, Libby and Randy.
He was married to Rosalie Givens and she preceded him in death on February 14, 2010.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Horn of Huntsville, Alabama, and Libby (Randy) Benson of Doniphan; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin Wednesday afternoon, April 23, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Mark Horn officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
