Donald Richard Ward, 73, of Doniphan, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.
Mr. Ward was born April 19, 1935, in Lilbourn, MO., to the late Leo & Evelyn (Robinson) Ward. He was a machine Repairman for the Chrysler Corporation. Mr. Ward was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church, a former board member of Ripley County Memorial Hospital, a Mason of the 32nd Degree and a member of the Eastern Star. He enjoyed camping.
On November 12, 1966, he was married to Jacqolin Shepard in Sharpsville, IN. She survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Randel L. Ward of Chula Vista, CA., Richard L. Ward of Kokomo, IN., Michael A. Ward of Forest, IN., Roger D. Ward of Doniphan, MO.; and two daughters Karen S. Eaton of Indianapolis, IN., and Jennifer S. Strain of Mulberry IN and two brothers James Ward of Tipton IN and the Late Kenneth Ward.
Visitation will be Sunday July 20, 2008, from 5-8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home chapel with Brother Wayne Prather officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery in Fairdealing.
