David Wilbur Lee Ray, 51, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Ray, son of Bobby Ray and Norma (Wilson) Arnold, was born April 16, 1962, in Doniphan. He was self-employed in sawmilling and farming. Mr. Ray enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving are one son, Charles Brooks of Poplar Bluff; three daughters, Wenonna (and Mark) Goings of Poplar Bluff and Jewel Arnold and Sharla Arnold, both of Doniphan; three sisters, Robbin (and Bo) Brown, Rachael Brown and Jessica Daves, all of Doniphan; one brother, Bobby Arnold of Doniphan; his significant other, Tammy Arnold; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Tim Ray, one sister, Melissa Birge, one niece, Abby Arnold, one great-nephew, Tyler Martin and one grandson, Harley Brooks.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday afternoon, April 1, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Brakebill Cemetery in Middlebrook, Arkansas.
