Sandra J. Murray, 71, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away at the Southeast Health Center of Ripley County on February 9, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Sandra was born in Ripley County to Deward and Arah (Reid) Lawrence on July 3, 1942.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Murray of 38 years; daughter Sherry (Swigert) Cambron and husband Mike of Hunter, Missouri; and son Pete Swigert of Grandin, Missouri. She is also survived by stepchildren, Rick Murray and wife Chrissy of Dexter, Missouri, Robin Vickers and husband Hal of Doniphan, Missouri, and Russell Murray and wife Tonya of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Darron Lawrence and Louie Lawrence and one sister, Violet Colyott, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Prentha Merritt and Helen Webb.
She enjoyed painting, gardening and planting flowers. She loved her animals, especially Peanut. Sandra loved to hunt and fish and looked forward to deer season every year.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
